A tilemaker and woodworker, *danwalters' works handsomely represent the aesthetics of the American Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th century. Visit his gallery to see other fired stoneware clay tiles framed in various woods, such as white oak and Honduran mahogany. The suggester writes that the artist "takes a ceramic cast of one of his woodcarvings and frames it in a carved wooden structure that he builds.
