Landscape Tile Triptych by *danwalters. A tilemaker and woodworker, *danwalters' works handsomely represent the aesthetics of the American Arts and Crafts movement of the early 20th century. Visit his gallery to see other fired stoneware clay tiles framed in various woods, such as white oak and Honduran mahogany. The suggester writes that the artist "takes a ceramic cast of one of his woodcarvings and frames it in a carved wooden structure that he builds. His work is a beautiful interpretation of nature, trees, and such that is expressed with his use of form and coloration." (Suggested by *CosmicFolklore and Featured by `Kitten-of-Woe)

Beautiful work. Could have come directly out of an FL Wright house. The simple earthy colors and texture of the tiles is wonderful and the staining of the oak is spot on!
